Artists wanted.

Sam designed every card, every rule, and every brutal twist. The pictures on this site are prototypes — made fast so we could print decks, play hundreds of games, and break the rules before spending a dollar on final art.

Those images are stand-ins. They are not the final game.

The published edition will be illustrated by people. Named artists. Credit on the cards. Work that belongs in a folio.

• Original illustrations for the card set: creatures, chaos effects, and key characters from Sam's list
• A consistent arena look: dark, volcanic, readable at card size, a bit savage, never muddy
• Card back, box art, and a small set of tokens or icons for the online beta
• Someone who can take a kid's idea — Accent, Cursed Position, The Forgotten God — and make it feel like a real tabletop world

This is not "trace the prototype." Current pictures exist so testers could tell cards apart. Final art should be original. Same names, same vibe, new drawing.

Illustration and concept-art students at TAFE and uni. Emerging freelance illustrators. Anyone building a games or publishing folio. Perth and WA first, anywhere welcome.

You do not need a published game. You do need a few pieces that show creatures or characters under control, and work that still reads when small.

Credit on the card and in the rulebook. A printed copy of the finished deck. Folio and social use of your images with a Rage Bait Arena credit. Commissioned work gets a written brief, a fee, and staged checkpoints (thumbnail, line, colour). Student projects will be scoped with the lecturer so they are assessed work, not unpaid production.
