Right now we're deep into our 100-game beta testing challenge, putting Sam's game through its toughest test yet. Every card, every rule, and every crazy combo has to prove it deserves a place in the final deck before we hire artists and bring the game to life with professional artwork.

This week, the spotlight is on one of our fan-favourite cards:

🐉 Pet Dragon

On the surface, the Pet Dragon seems simple enough. Summon your fiery friend and unleash chaos on your opponents.

But during testing, a question came up:

Should the Pet Dragon be able to be reversed?

If another player uses a card that changes, redirects, or reverses an effect, should your loyal dragon suddenly turn around and roast its owner instead?

Some players think:

🔥 Yes! It creates hilarious moments, unexpected comebacks, and more strategic decision-making.

Others think:

🛡️ No! A Pet Dragon should stay loyal to its owner no matter what happens.

That's exactly why we're beta testing before moving to professional artists and final production. The goal isn't just to create cool cards—it’s to make sure the game is fun, balanced, and full of memorable moments.

Every game teaches us something new.

Every rule gets challenged.

And every card has to earn its place in the final deck.
