Game 48 of 100: The Chaos Continues!

Game 48 of 100: The Chaos Continues!

Today we reached Game 48 of our 100-game beta testing marathon for Rage Bait Arena!

For those who are new here, Rage Bait Arena started as an idea from my son Sam. He created the game, designed the core rules, and came up with many of the original card concepts. Before we spend money hiring professional artists and producing the final version, we're putting the game through the ultimate challenge: 100 real games with real players.

Why?

Because a great idea isn't enough. A game has to be fun, balanced, unpredictable, and most importantly, make players want to play again.

That's exactly what we're testing.

Every game teaches us something new. Some cards that looked amazing on paper turned out to be far too powerful. Others barely made an impact and needed a complete redesign. A few surprise cards have become fan favourites, creating the kind of laughter, revenge plays, dramatic comebacks, and chaos that Rage Bait Arena was built around.

One of the biggest advantages of using our AI-generated test deck is flexibility. We can tweak cards, adjust rules, and trial new ideas without paying artists to redraw cards every time something changes. Right now, the goal isn't to make the cards look perfect—it's to make sure the gameplay is as fun as possible.

The mission is simple:

Test the chaos. Break the rules. Fix what doesn't work. Keep what does.

As we approach the halfway mark of our 100-game journey, we're starting to see which cards are likely to survive into the final version and which ones may be headed back to the drawing board. New strategies are emerging every game, and no two matches ever seem to play out the same way.

The big question remains:

Which cards, rules, and crazy ideas will still be standing after Game 100?

Only one way to find out.

🎥 Watch Game 48 here:

Thank you to everyone who has been following the journey, watching the videos, sharing ideas, and helping us test the game. Every comment, suggestion, and playtest helps bring a game from a 10-year-old's imagination one step closer to becoming a real card game.

48 games complete. 52 still to go.

The chaos is far from over.

Follow along to see which cards survive, which rules evolve, and whether Sam's game can make the leap from an AI test deck to a professionally illustrated card game. 🎲🔥
