What started as a card game created by Sam has now reached a huge milestone: Game 50 of our 100-game beta testing journey.

For the last 50 games, we've been testing Rage Bait Arena using our AI-generated prototype deck before committing to professional artwork and final production. Every game teaches us something new, and every rule gets pushed to its limits.

Why Game 50 Matters

Reaching Game 50 means we've now completed half of our planned testing process.

That may sound simple, but it represents:

Hundreds of card interactions tested Dozens of rule adjustments Countless coin flips Plenty of rage-filled moments Lots of laughs between father and son

Some cards have survived almost unchanged. Others have been completely redesigned after proving too powerful, too weak, or simply not fun enough to play.

The Goal Isn't Just a Fun Game

Our mission isn't to create a perfect game on paper.

It's to create a game that's:

Every beta game helps us get closer to that goal.

What We've Learned So Far

One of the biggest surprises has been how often our favourite cards have needed changes.

Cards that looked amazing during design sometimes broke the game during testing.

Meanwhile, some of the simplest cards have become fan favourites because they create exciting moments without slowing the game down.

That's exactly why we're running 100 games before sending the deck to artists.
